Morning Routine:

• I fill up my 24 oz glass water bottle with Purest Electrolyte™ early in the morning.
• I enjoy it after watching the sunrise and doing some stretches.

During Activities:

• I keep my Purest drink with me while biking, swimming, hiking, or at the gym.
• It's crucial for me to drink my electrolyte while working out indoors to stay hydrated under artificial light.

Afternoon Replenishment:

• Around 4 PM, I prepare another Purest drink in my water bottle to replenish my body and prepare for a good night’s sleep.

Extreme Weather or High Screen Time:

• During very hot or cold months, or on days spent in front of the computer, I make sure to have an extra serving of Purest Electrolyte™ to maintain optimal hydration.

We recommend 16- 24 ounces of water, depending on how concentrated you like your Purest Electrolyte™.

No! In addition to the sweetness of organic freeze-dried fruits, we created our unique, proprietary zero-sugar blend.  We combined tiny amounts of organic monk fruit, lucuma, and stevia leaf to provide a deliciously subtle sweetness without any aftertaste.

• Lucuma is loaded with antioxidants and balances the taste profiles of monk and stevia
• Stevia Rebaudiana Extract is derived naturally from stevia plant leaves and undergoes a process of harvesting, drying, steeping, filtering, purifying, and crystallizing. Due to the natural ingredients we use in our formula and the absence of anything artificial, you may notice that Purest Electrolyte™ does not fully dissolve in your water bottle. In particular, you may see freeze-dried powder not fully dissolving. This is completely normal! Give your water bottle a shake or stir the formula in your glass, and the product will be evenly distributed again.

• We have found that apple cider vinegar is the best option. Since our product uses real fruit, it can leave a stain, but apple cider vinegar is very effective. Try not to let our electrolytes sit overnight, as the citrus can permanently stain the plastic.

Purest uses sun evaporated sea salts, which are abundant in trace minerals. Because our salt is evaporated by the sun instead of processed at high artificial heats, the trace minerals are preserved.

At high temperatures, salt loses its ionic bonds. These bonds allow salt to dissolve into water and create charged particles that cells can use. The human body needs these ionic bonds to absorb electrolytes and minerals, maintain blood pressure, and ensure cellular hydration.

Himalayan salt, by contrast, is mined in Pakistan with minimal regulation and is not ionic; its minerals are locked in rock form and are harder for the body to absorb. While it contains around 60 trace minerals, it is typically lower in magnesium and lacks ocean-derived elements. It can also be high in fluoride and often includes anti-caking agents, and because there is no natural brine preserved, its mineral ratios can vary significantly.

Table salt (iodized salt) is highly processed in laboratory environments. Magnesium is intentionally removed to prevent clumping, but this reduces mineral benefit, and aluminum and/or ferrocyanide anti-caking agents are usually added. It is not ionic and has low bioavailability, offering mostly sodium with added iodine and virtually no natural trace minerals. Because it is bleached and heat-treated, it contains none of the mineral diversity found in natural salts.

Redmond salt is mined from ancient fossilized seabeds in Utah. It is also non-ionic, since the minerals are no longer in seawater form, which reduces absorption. It contains roughly 60 trace minerals but lacks algae-derived ocean minerals and is missing key seawater elements like iodine, selenium, and bromine unless added later. Like other fossilized salts, it can contain heavier minerals common to ancient deposits, and without living brine, it does not offer the complex mineral profile of modern sea salts.

Ionizing water with sea salts involves adding minerals that dissociate into ions when water dissolves. Sea salts typically contain sodium chloride (NaCl) and trace minerals like magnesium, potassium, and calcium. When these salts dissolve in water, they release Na+, Cl-, Mg2+, K+, and Ca2+ ions.

These ions can influence the water's pH and its electrical charge. Specifically, minerals like magnesium and calcium can impart a slight negative charge to the water molecules. This negative charge enhances hydration by creating a more readily absorbable form of water.

Water with a negative charge (often referred to as "structured water" or "exclusion zone water") is more readily penetrate cell membranes and hydrate cells more effectively compared to plain water. EZ (Exclusion Zone) water is beneficial for hydration due to several properties that may enhance its ability to support cellular hydration and function:

• Enhanced Absorption: EZ water has a higher density and unique structure than bulk water. This structure may facilitate easier absorption through cell membranes, potentially improving cellular hydration.
• Exclusion of Impurities: EZ water excludes solutes and ions, creating a cleaner environment that could support cellular processes more efficiently without the interference of contaminants.
• Mitochondria Support: EZ water has biological functions, such as facilitating cell energy production and maintaining cellular integrity. These contribute to overall hydration and cellular health.
• Drinking ionized sea salt helps maintain optimal levels of EZ water in tissues, which may support various physiological functions, including hydration, detoxification, and antioxidant activity.

Citric acid is found naturally in citrus fruits like lemons and limes, giving them their tart, sour taste. We use the purest NONGMO citric acid to balance the flavour of our products. Our citric acid is derived from non-GMO citrus fruits.

We don't add synthetic magnesium because we already have magnesium in our sea salt! The magnesium in Purest Electrolyte™ comes directly from our solar sea salt blend…..nothing has been altered, added, or heated in a lab. Our magnesium is naturally occurring and bioavailable because it is from the sea. You end up excreting all of the excess mineral content found in other brands. Expensive pee is a waste of money.
